Dvd2onex la la land2/21/2023 ![]() ![]() Just nothing like the photos they display and really a big let down at the end of a great holiday to arrive here and find a superior room that wasn’t superior at all. No way a 5* it was in need of a good clean and a good clear out of the rude staff working there. Update repair and clean your rooms I am sorry for the 1 star review just don't mess me about at check in you could have got a higher review. Train your staff to provide appropriate action and help if check in can't happen. To summarize Reply to your Expedia messages !!! Sort out your check in rules. The room Smelly bathroom, old urine smell Dirty stained carpets and walls Holes in the curtains One TV channel ? Open cavities in room as a wasp got in the room even though all windows were closed. Your hotel review was doomed as soon as this happened and there was no going back at that moment. You ruined my first day in cologne and the price I paid for a little bit of sleep was out of order. The biggest thing is communication you need to train your staff better and reply to the messages guests send you on Expedia, if you had told me before hand then it's fine, don't let me arrive at the hotel and just assume it's ok. Your front of house staff need more training. Paid for a taxi to take me outside the area if needed to get to a room for the night. Wyndham call up other hotels in the area and arrange a new place to stay as they are in the hotel business 4. Provided free wifi until I had arranged another room for the night at a fair price 3. Sleep inside the foyer area until check in opened 2. The front desk should have offered me either 1. Basic support from the man on the front desk, go outside and look for other near by hotels which may have room for you ? We searched around and found a hotel called the marriot which basically ripped me off for less then 10 hours sleep. It's no longer the 11th now it's the 12th?. Arrived at the hotel tired and exhausted after travel, check in was denied because I did not book the 11th off aswell even though check in don't close until 5am. No reply was given by the hotel so I assumed all was fine. ![]() I had informed the hotel with prior notice of my intentions before my due date. The message explained to the hotel that I wouldn't be arriving at the hotel until the early hours of the 12th October. On the 10th October I messaged the hotel through the Expedia message service via the Expedia application. I could have booked a room also for the 11th but seeing as I wouldn't technically land on the 12th I thought it would be ok. Check in opens at 3pm and closes at 5am The plane landed in cologne airport just after midnight on the 12th October. I had booked my stay here through Expedia, from October 12 to the 14th. Raoul Peck won the People’s Choice documentary award for “I Am Not Your Negro,” which tracks the lives and assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X and Medgar Evers. The prize for the festival’s Platform sidebar of international films was awarded to Chilean director Pablo Larraín for “Jackie,” the Jacqueline Kennedy biopic starring Natalie Portman. Stone, who won best actress at Venice, previously starred with Gosling, a native Canadian, in “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” Since premiering at the Venice Film Festival, “La La Land” has been an answer to those who say movies aren’t what they once were and that television is better now.Ĭhazelle wrote the script to “La La Land” about six years ago, but his pleas to make the film went unanswered until his 2014 breakthrough, the Oscar-winning “Whiplash,” about an aspiring jazz drummer. The film, scheduled for December release, stars Stone as an aspiring actress in Los Angeles who, in between soul-crushing auditions, meets a jazz pianist (Gosling) trying to stay true to the music he’s devoted himself to. ![]()
